A few things to consider when having your photo taken...
*Decide on a setting
a) Indoor
b) Outdoor
c) Or both
*The Look
a)Casual
b)Formal
c) Your look should always match your setting. Seek the advice
ahead of time from your photographer or a fashionista.
d) More than one outfit can be fun.
e) Consider props. What does the studio have or what might you
have that you would want to use.
f) Bring in pictures of the look you might want so that
your photographer can clearly see your vision.
*Plan ahead
a) Consult your photographer about how much what
you want might cost.
b) Book the appointment considering when you will be
fashion and financially ready.
c) Make sure if you know exactly what you want that
you let your photographer know ahead of time.
This will allow them to prepare and for you to get
exactly what you want.
*Make it fun
a) Consider your appointment time.
Make it for a time when your most relaxed.
b) Maybe bring a friend for courage and motivation.
Maybe take a few shots together.
*Most important to remember
a) You! Often people have photos taken of others and
don't remember themselves.
Consider having a photo taken of yourself every year.
This will be something nice to look back on.
Especially if you are a mom and you put your
kids first. Chances are you have not done it for yourself
in a long time. ;)
